WHO I AM

Dominique Tardif

CranioSacral Therapist, LMT, CST-T

I have had a lifelong interest in and instinctive knack for massage and bodywork. As a young adult, I began attending training courses and, over the decades, studied, refined, and honed a variety of bodywork techniques.

In 2008, I began pursuing training in CST from the Upledger Institute to eventually focus my practice solely on CST and related modalities. Now I am a Upledger Techniques Certified CranioSacral Therapist (CST-T), a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute, and a HeartMath Certified Coach. I regularly attend advanced trainings and explore other gentle manual therapy modalities to “add to the library of my hands”. (Hat tip to Mariann Sisco)

I am awed, inspired, and humbled daily by the body's ability to heal and self-correct with just a little encouragement and input. My role is not to "fix" anyone but to facilitate whatever needs to be released and healed. Every session is an improvisation and synthesis of every technique I have learned, melded with the information that I am receiving from the body’s innate wisdom.

I owe infinite thanks to Dr. John Upledger, who developed this modality and the fine instructors who carry on his mission.

I have lived in Idaho since 2002 and enjoy exploring its mountains and rivers with my husband. My favorite hobby is playing acoustic swing music.
